To make a nice curve on a bowl, the curve needs to be cut in one smooth pass. On medium to large sized bowls you need a curved toolrest to do this. The ONEWAY curved toolrest is gently curved to help bowl turning from the first green turning to final finish cut. 
The solid stainless steel construction will prevent rust and allow a sturdy, reliable rest.
